Wedding ceremonies and wedding couples are a lot alike. They all have similarities, and all have differences. While couples are obviously different people with different backgrounds, all of them share some of the same qualities. They are two people in love who want to commit to sharing a life with another person.

Almost all wedding ceremonies share similarities. There is an introduction, vows, declaration, and an exchange of rings. However, those various parts can be unique to each couple.

I will work with you to share your story and help you express the love you feel for each other. Each couple, and each story, is special. I am here to help make your day extraordinary.

You can choose from a Christian, religious or non-religious ceremony. Even within those categories the amount of religious or spiritual reference is dictated by you. You will decide, with my guidance if needed, on the length, format and wording of the ceremony. Music, readings, poems and stories are unique to you. Not every couple wants a funny story, jokes or an amusing anecdote about how they met. Some are more private, or want a more solemn or traditional ceremony. Some may want a full religious service in addition to the nuptials, while others want brevity. No matter what type of ceremony you chose, you will get the following:

• Initial telephone conversation. If you choose to move forward with me, then I will ask you to prepare answers to some questions I will give you.
• A one - two hour initial meeting to discuss what you wish your wedding ceremony to look like. We will also go over the questions I gave you, and more, to help me understand you better and help create the ceremony you desire.
• I will be in contact with you as I progress with the various parts of the ceremony; working with you to shape the outline into what you want it to be. You will be able to contact me with any questions you have, ideas you want to bounce off me or changes you wish to make.
• A second meeting will be set up in the weeks leading up to the big day. There we will go over the ceremony and make any alterations if needed. We can also go through to entire ceremony, minus actual vows and declaration, should you desire. We will also confirm/finalize all dates, times, locations, and participants..
• If you decide to write your own vows, I can assist if needed.
• Attendance at the rehearsal. There I will work with you to make sure all portions of the ceremony (from the music and processional to placement and readings, through the exchange of rings, the kiss and recessional) are practiced and wrinkles ironed out. I will also ask to see the marriage license and your government issued id’s (required by Wisconsin law). This way you do not need to worry about carrying your driver’s license with you on the wedding day.
• Early arrival at the venue, where I will confirm you have the marriage license on site. Answer any last-minute questions and help to sooth any nerves. Perform the ceremony. Observe parties sign the marriage license, then sign the license.
• Return the license to the Registrar of Deeds Office within three days.
• My wife and I can also provide premarital guidance should you be interested. 

• Your personalized ceremony: $200 (includes the above)
• Simple quick ceremonies which include: one brief meeting (phone or in person), a service which only contains the legally required portion of the ceremony, and license signing and return. $100
• If you desire a full religious service in addition to the wedding ceremony: Add an additional $50.
• Travel up to 60 miles or one hour included (Always a little wiggle room). Beyond that, additional charges will apply. This applies to both the rehearsal and the ceremony.
• Ceremonies on New Years Eve/Day, Easter, July 3rd/4th, Thanksgiving, and Christmas Eve/Day: An additional $100.
• An accurate price quote will be provided once all the details are known.
